Riachuelo decommissioned
28 years ago today, on 12 November 1997, Brazilian Oberon-Class submarine Riachuelo (S22) was decommissioned after sailing more than 181 thousand nautical miles, in 1,283.5 days at sea and 17,699 hours and forty-one minutes submerged.
