147 views18 October 1955 photo of the Wisconsin (BB-64) being towed under the Manhattan Bridge by tugs after she ran aground on Diamond Rock at the Eastern tip of Manhattan today. She was en route from Bayonne N.J. shipyard to the Brooklyn Navy Yard when she got stuck. Tugs freed the vessel after 45 minutes.
