Ancient Penteconter Argo (reconstruction)

Post by Ayanamikun »

Argo is a reconstruction of an ancient Mycenaean 50-oared warship, a penteconter. She was built in 2006 in the city of Volos, along the precedence set by Olympias. She undertook many experimental voyages across the Aegean, especially a 650 mile voyage. She is now in need of a permanent museum, to house her as an exhibit.
