However, my search for more information about the vessel proved fruitless, she was named "Faithful" and my search yielded no results. My frustration mounted, and I began to wonder if this ship was simply another online scam. Despite my doubts, the ship continued to linger in my mind until one day, its ad resurfaced. Determined to uncover more information, I combed through numerous pages of vintage ship images until I stumbled upon a very similar vessel. My heart stopped for a moment as I clicked on the link, eager to see if this was truly the same ship. Upon comparing the two, I was similar but not the same ship unfortunately. I knew this ship had an identity and a story but I’ll be damned if I could find it.

The thought of this majestic ship lingered in my mind for weeks on end. Its grandeur and exceptional craftsmanship were awe-inspiring, even despite the neglect it had endured over the years. Every curve of the ship was a sight to behold, leaving me eagerly anticipating the opportunity to explore it. I waited patiently for the seller to reach out to me, hoping to capture every intricate detail of the vessel through a virtual tour. But as the days went by without any response from the seller, my hope began to fade, and I started to assume that the ship was no longer available. The thought of missing out on such a remarkable opportunity left me feeling disappointed.

I was at the point when all hope seemed lost, I was close to throwing in the towel and blocking this ship from my mind. Later that evening the phone rang. It was the seller calling me back. I was in a movie at the time and had to step out to answer. As we spoke, I assumed the role of a potential buyer, even though I had no real intention of purchasing the ship. I simply wanted to take a tour and document this unique ship. The seller was sharp and eager to make a sale, pitching the vessel as a potential luxurious yacht conversion. However, there was something off-putting about his demeanor. He had the air of a used car salesman, and I couldn't help but wonder about the ship's history and how the seller had come to acquire it. Despite my reservations, I felt a pull towards the ship. After all I just wanted a tour. My curiosity was piqued. This was no ordinary vessel. It was a work of art, a marvel of engineering. The seller may not have known much about it, but I could sense that there was a story waiting to be told. I felt more and more inspired than ever. Later in the conversation we set a date for my visit and I was set to meet with the caretaker of the ship.

I couldn't help but wonder "What if?" What if I had the means and ability to take on this challenging project? Could I really make it work? The seller had taken to Craigslist in search of a solution for this massive vessel, with ads ranging from $600,000 to $1.2 million. It was clear he was fishing for a buyer, someone who would take on the daunting task of restoring this beautiful ship or to simply sell her for scrap. While I had some savings, I knew that I wasn't exactly ready to dive into a project of this magnitude. After all, I was content with my current comfortable lifestyle and had plenty of other projects to occupy my time. On the other hand, maybe I was missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime. As I thought about it more, I realized that taking on this project was more of a day dream. But the thought still lingered and I couldn’t help but wonder, What if?
