USCGC Lilac sold to Pegasus Project

On 11 March 2003, USCGC Lilac (WAGL-227) was bought from a private owner by the non-profit Tug PEGASUS Preservation Project based in New York City, with the intent to transfer ownership to the the newly created Steamer Lilac Project, which happened on January 1st 2004.
