USS Gallup recommissioned

75 years ago today, on 18 October 1950, Tacoma-class frigate USS Gallup (PF-47) was recommissioned in Yokosuka, for service in the Korean War, with Lieutenant Commander William W. Boyd, Jr. in command.
She was transferred to Thailand on 29 October 1951 as HTMS Prasae.
She is now a museum ship at Paknam Prasae, Thailand
