On 6 August 1987, Tang-class submarine USS Gudgeon (SS-567) was struck from the Naval Vessel Register. She was transferred to Turkey on 30 September 1983, and is now a museum ship in Izmit, Turkey.

USS Gallup decommissioned

On 26 August 1945, Tacoma-class frigate USS Gallup (PF-47) was decommissioned at Cold Bay, AK and immediately transferred to the Soviet Union as EK-22 as part of Project Hula. After she was returned to the USN on 14 November 1949, she was finally transferred to Thailand on 29 October 1951 as HTMS Prasae.
She is now a museum ship at Paknam Prasae, Thailand
