Angara launched

124 years ago today, on 25 July 1900, Russian icebreaker Angara was launched from a shipyard  in Listvyanka into Lake Baikal.
The icebreaker was ordered at Armstrong & Co, Newcastle, transported from Britain in sections, traveling by ship and by horse, and was assembled and launched in Listvyanka 
MuseumShip in Irkutsk, Russia.

USS Rogers transferred
