USS LST-1141 decommissioned

75 years ago today, on 24 August 1949, USS LST-1141 was decommissioned at San Diego, CA and laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet
She was transferred to Thailand on 12 March 1970 and renamed HTMS Lanta (LST-4). Her hull number later changed to LST-714.
Now a MuseumShip at Sai Thai, Mueang Krabi District, Thailand
