USS Cavalla SS-244 recommissioned

75 years ago today, on 10 April 1951 Gato-class submarine USS Cavalla SS-244 was commissioned for the second time, LCDR M.C. Duncan commanding. She was assigned to Submarine Squadron 8 and engaged in various fleet exercises in the Caribbean and off Nova Scotia.
