68 years ago today, on 8 March 1958, Iowa-class battleship USS Wisconsin BB-64 was decommissioned at Bayonne and joined the United States Navy reserve fleet at the Philadelphia Naval Yard.
She remained there with her sister ship Iowa until called to duty again in the 1980's
