Sehested decommissioned

25 years ago today, on 31 December 2000, Willemoes-class fast attack craft HDMS Sehested (P547) was decommissioned. She was handed over to the Royal Danish Naval Museum and docked at the historic Holmen naval base in Copenhagen to serve as a museum ship.

Jeon Ju decommissioned

26 years ago today, on 31 December 1999, Gearing-class destroyer ROKS Jeon Ju (DD-925), (former USS Rogers -DD-876), was decommissioned by the South Korean Navy and is now a museum ship at SapKyoHo National Sightseeing Resort, located at Dangjin-Gun, Chung Nam Province, South Korea.
