Constellation decommissioned

4 February 1955, USS Constellation (IX-20) was decommissioned for the last time, She was then moved to Baltimore in a floating dry-dock for restoration and preservation as a historic ship by a private, non-profit organization.

Hizireis decommissioned

22 years ago today, on 4 February 2004, Turkish TCG Hizireis (S342) was decommissioned and became a museum ship in Izmit, Turkey.
She is the former Tang-class submarine USS Gudgeon (SS-567).

Pender County struck

On 6 February 1959 LST-542-class USS Pender County (LST-1080) was struck from the Naval Vessel Register.
She was transferred to South Korea in 1959 as ROKS Hwa San (LST-816) ans is now a museum ship, on display alongside ROKS Jeon Ju (DD 925) (former USS Rogers - DD-876) at SapKyoHo National Sightseeing Resort, located at Dangjin-Gun, Chung Nam Province.
